Courses and Events Related to Videogames at The Danish Film School

Hello everyone!

Etienne here, student assistant at The Danish Film School’s continuous training. Our department organizes many courses and events related to videogames, so I thought it would be great to inform you here on some of them:

Creative Leadership in Game Productions: from the 16th of March to the 26th of May, the school will host a course for creative leaders in game productions. Teachers such as Lau Korsgaard, Charlene Putney, Richard Lemarchand, and Bastian Wendzinski will focus on personal, team, and project development. Stories and scripts for video games: Please note that this course is taught in Danish. In this course, participants will gain insight into how to tell interactive stories that empower the player. A Director’s Guide: A Journey into Voice & Performance Capture in Games: This two-day workshop offers a roadmap to achieving authentic and engaging performances in games through Voice and Pcap. Taught by Trine C. Jensen, Mathias Ramsø Thomsen, and Lars Beyer, the workshop allows participants to immerse in a comprehensive journey from casting to collaborative staging.
