DESCRIPTION
Join us on an exciting quest to unleash creativity!
We're looking for experienced game artist with Unity3D expertise to work with us on a project for a big, well-known and fun client. This is a full time freelance contract for 4 month with possible extension. You will work at our creative studio space in Malmö, Sweden.

The project is exciting, but we cannot tell you all the details right here and now, so here’s just a few teasers:
- It’s a game-like experience for kids that is all about creative play
- It’s an app for mobile platforms and will reach a lot of kids and make them smile
- The app is closely connected to a physical toy, so you’re gonna get your hands dirty...

The game comes with unique technical challenges as well as golden opportunities to break new grounds. This is where you come in. You will be a part of an engaged cross disciplinary team of developers, designers, and testers, and we’ll expect you to bring all your creative capacity into helping us make a magical play experience.
Your focus will be to build and design 3D models, create textures, author shaders, write tools and script basic gameplay.
There will also be space for you to be involved in the visual direction of the experience.

Preferred start date - as soon as possible.
Deadline for the applications is 15 November, but we will have an ongoing review of applications.

REQUIREMENTS
You are:
- An experienced game artist with some programming skills
- Great at getting amazing things out of Unity 3D
- Experienced with building 3D models, textures and shaders
- Able to write simple tools for Unity

If you have worked with projects for kids before, it’s a bonus.
The environment at ustwo is fast moving, open and filled with opportunities to learn and share knowledge. This is what you can expect to be doing, in addition to programming:
- Organizing your work within an agile team
- Working closely with designers and testers
- Collaborating with the team to push quality to the next level
- Taking responsibility for your work and your code

We care a lot about the people we work with, and strive for an open hearted and honest workplace. We hope that you:
Are a good listener and appreciate people that provide different perspectives
Enjoy work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimum supervision
Are organized and structured in your approach
Are up for allowing yourself and others to fail and learn together

BENEFITS
You’re joining a cross-functional team of ustwobies with the shared dream to create magical products that have a meaningful impact on the world. As a freelancer you’ll be a member of the ustwo studio life and in-studio events, including breakfasts, games and parties. Our purpose is to unleash collective genius, and you’ll play a crucial part in this.
