Lead developer and a part time developer wanted

THE COMPANY:

Step In Books is a multi-award winning digital studio that explores spatiality in relation to narratives by letting you “step into” story worlds. We develop interactive game experiences, such as combining traditional books with AR and VR technologies in Unity. Step In Books is already well-established, and has a dozen titles out on the market in over 30 countries. And we have lots of fun while doing it!

The office is located in central Copenhagen, 30 seconds from Strøget and five minutes from Nørreport. We prioritise a nice work environment where board-gaming and pizza days are frequent.

THE JOB:

We have two new projects coming up that we would like your help to develop.

One is an international platform for creating and distributing advanced and interactive e-book content across the world. This project involves skills like text parsing, complex data structures, Unity editor extensions, UI, MVC, cloud hosting and much more.

The other is a state-of-the-art AR game for children as an augmentation to the children’s book, Nursery Alice, a re-adaption of the classical story about Alice in Wonderland written by Lewis Carroll himself.

Other tasks involve maintenance around the office with hardware and software setup, as well as management of repositories and maintenance of existing applications. Including some maintenance and developing work for our sister company Lucus, which specialises in creating engaging learning games for kids.

Both positions are paid.

Please write whether you are applying for lead developer, part time developer or both.

Deadline: As soon as possible. Applicants will be considered continuously.
