We are looking for an experienced render programmer to join the Gameglobe team. If you want to be part of a team of experienced game developers, if you communicate easily with both GPUs and artists and if you think Gameglobe is really cool (but perhaps have ideas for how it could look even better!) then we should talk!
In this job you will
- Get ownership of the entire render pipeline in Gameglobe.
Implement new render features from asset cooking to shader code.
Perform debugging and optimization.
Evaluate new platforms and technologies.
- Years of experience writing C/C++ code for Win32 or consoles.
Deep knowledge of DirectX (and preferable also OpenGL) rendering APIs.
Solid background in 3D methods, rendering techniques and renderer architectures.
Having shipped rendering code with a game.
Skilled at profiling and debugging rendering/engine code.
Good English skills (spoken and written)
- Experience with MacOS X
Worked with rendering on Android or iOS devices.
Experience with OpenGL (regular or ES).
Knowledge about tablet GPUs.
- You are a self starter and can work independently
..but you know when it is important to sync with colleagues before moving on.
You have a good sense of priorities and how to pick the most promising features to pursue.
